Theme park reviews: SeaWorld Orlando, Orlando, Florida

Known for its exciting and informative shows, interesting interactive exhibits and now, a handful of thrill rides, Sea World Orlando continues to be a favorite of audiences of all ages who flock to the exciting attraction. Although Sea World Orlando is the most visited of all of the country’s Sea World parks, it still offers Orlando vacationers a relaxed alternative to the crowds and interminable lines at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando.

Spectacular shows are what Sea World is best known for. Each one is a completely different presentation that demonstrates the incredible talents of the trainers, wildlife and stunt men and women involved in them. While conservation themed and educational in nature, they all are thoroughly entertaining experiences that should be a part of any Orlando vacation. Currently, the following shows are thrilling audiences at Sea World Orlando:

* Believe: This is the newest incarnation of the Shamu killer whale show. Here, the spirit of wonder that exists in every living being is explored in a dazzling show featuring elaborate sets, music, choreography and state-of-the-art multimedia.

* Blue Horizons: Soaring birds, dancing water and incredibly acrobatic whales and dolphins perform in this show that takes guests to a place where the sea meets the sky.

* Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island: This show is sure to put a smile on the faces of every park guest, as they follow the hilarious antics of a sea lion and otter. Lost treasure, plundering pirates and high sea adventure make this an audience favorite show after show.

* Fusion: This high-energy show takes place on land, water and in the sky and features the incredible talents of some of the world’s best athletic performers on jet skis, stunt kites and water skis, set to a rocking music soundtrack. There is so much going on during the twenty minute show that frequently, audience members don’t know where to look next!

* Mistify: This nighttime extravaganza is a must-see show that brings together surf and sky in a dazzling display of lights, water, flames and fireworks.

* Odyssea: The circus goes “underwater” in this fabulous show featuring high-flying acrobats, comedy, and beautiful costumes. This, one of the Orlando vacation area’s best shows, is reminiscent of the opening ceremonies at the Olympics and is set to a marine theme.

* Pets Ahoy!: A dozen dogs, eighteen cats and a variety of ducks, doves and parrots perform in this delightful and humorous show
